Long Overdue Update

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin at 7:34 pm on Tuesday, January 19, 2010

Well, I am just getting the hang of some of this internet stuff. I have abandoned the Flu Awareness Idea as it was just too risky with the FDA telling everyone what they can NOT say. I am a firm believer in alternatives to mainstream medicine. I can say that. I was going to recommend PowerImmune because I know it is a good product. I won’t say it can help your immune system because that might be a no no. Its a strong formula and a good product.

Hi. You may say Powerimmune can help your immune system, no problem. You can say Powerimmune is the best natural immune booster I know, because that is a structure/function claim. However you may not say Powerimmune is the best cold remedy I know, because then you’re claiming it can remedy the cold, and as Powerimmune is a herbal food supplement and therefore not approved as a drug by the FDA, you can’t claim it will diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. It’s tricky, but worth knowing about.

Best of health,

P.S. Thanks for the recommendation!

Actually, let me correct that. You’re not necessarily limited by what the FDA allows you to say. You can say your honest and complete truth about anything anywhere, as long as you don’t have any financial ties with what you’re talking about. As soon as you’re profiting from your expression, then you’re promoting, and you become subject to rules of the FDA and FTC. That’s why Mike Adams can say “Powerimmune is One of the Five Best Anti-Viral Products to Beat Influenza, Swine Flu, Bird Flu and SARS. He would be in deep trouble if he would make any money of that recommendation.
